Introduction

Qualia researches the people who sign up for your product. Your backend sends a new user's email to the Qualia API. Qualia finds out who the person is and what their company does, scores the match against your ideal customer profile (ICP), and writes a short briefing your team can act on.

Qualia is building AI agents that help product-led SaaS companies turn more of their users into paying customers. Signup intelligence is the part you can use today, and it is what these docs cover.

What you can do today

• Send signups. Call POST /v1/actors from your signup handler. One request per new user.
• Read briefings. Fetch each person's summary, role, company, and ICP fit score with GET /v1/actors/{actorId}.
• Post to Slack. Connect a Slack channel and receive a message for each researched signup, filtered by score.
• Review in the dashboard. See every signup, its briefing, and the reasoning behind its score.

How it works

1. Your backend sends a signup to POST /v1/actors. Qualia replies right away with an actor ID.
2. Qualia researches the person and their company in the background, then scores them against your ICP.
3. The actor's status changes to enriched. GET /v1/actors/{actorId} now returns the briefing and the score. If you connected Slack, the briefing also posts to your channel.

What is planned

Qualia reads signups today. Product events, CRM sync, and outbound webhooks are planned and not yet available. Until webhooks ship, read results through the API or connect Slack.
